The outline of a maiden,
Her whispery skirts billowing,
Silhouette in the expanse of darkness,
So empty she seems almost fleeting.
Before her it is resting,
Giant, the great hand of God,
Seeming to offer and yet simply there,
Promise of a life more than façade.
From a distance it begins,
A blinding light bursting forth and,
Stars, a river of stars flowing through,
Darkness and passing over the hand.
The maiden leans forward then,
Looks into the river of light,
A soul once hollow and evanescent,
Drink from the hand, be filled with starlight!
